Quote when purchasing a house that needed roof work and subsequent replacement of a broken slate.
Duncan came to the property to provide a quote for a full re roof of the property we were buying as the survey stated a new roof was needed. His quote was well priced and he came out at the time agreed. Communication was very good throughout. Once our purchase was complete and we had moved in, Duncan came out to the property to fix some broken slates and we discussed the actual re-roof for 2022. We will be in touch Duncan, thank you for all of your advice and hard work. I know our neighbours also enlisted Duncans help when they saw his van at our property and he fixed an issue at their house.

Roof repairs, chimney work
Our interwar house required work to two chimneys and roof repairs, it was in capable hands with Duncan Osborne, due to him being an outstanding roofer. Crucially, Duncan understands period roofs, and how they were designed and built, and he adjusts his techniques accordingly. Eg: he knew that the ridge tiles had to be pushed firmly into place, this is to allow the tiles to expand and contract naturally with the weather. Duncan is honest and diligent, taking pride in his work. Communication was excellent, he kept us updated at every stage. I wish other tradespeople were more like him.

I can't commend Duncan enough. Unlike other roofers I've used in the past Duncan finally sorted the problem. It was a pleasure to have him do the work. Duncan actually answers his mobile phone, responds to texts, turns up on time and date intended and is patient and in depth when discussing the issues and his plans to carry out the work. His knowledge quickly identified the problem unlike several roofers I used recently. Finally the problem is sorted. I would definitely go to Duncan again should the need arise and I would highly recommend him.

Full chimney repair
After being let down by multiple roofers, Duncan to his word came to price the job over a weekend and promptly gave a very competitive quote, and a day he would ne able to complete the work. Fantastic comms all the way through, and turned up (we were V lucky with the weather) and completed the job to what I believe is a high standard. The only thing I would say is make sure you have plenty of T bags and sugar :) Thanks again lads.

Broken tile fixed without issue
I messaged on the Sunday and fortunately they had availability to come on Monday to take a look at the broken tile on my roof. Without any issue and within 30 mins the tile was replaced with a new tile. Very polite, and honest roofer and would highly recommend to everyone in the area. I'll be using their services again if I ever need more roofing work completed!

Turned up each day between 7.30 and 7.45 and got to work immediately.Duncan and Jordan were very polite and had a good sense of humour.Their standard of work was to a very high standard and they kept me informed of progress as they went along,and wouldn’t do any work that wasn’t necessary,which I appreciated.They are trustworthy as we had to leave them with a key in order to exercise our dogs.I would have no hesitation in recommending D.Osborne roofing to anyone.

I would not hesitate to recommend Duncan. We are really pleased with the work him and his team did. Investigate and fix cause of rainwater ingress
Duncan remains the only roofer I've known who makes a real effort to make contact with potential clients and who keeps in regular contact to keep you up-to-date with his plans. He arranged scaffolding to be erected before he arrived, arrived on the agreed date, carried out the repair work (including having to stop to buy some additional roof tiles mid-way through the job) and cleared every last speck of debris before leaving To be honest, he deserves to be successful.

Chimney Repair
I contacted Duncan regarding the lead around the chimney stack, some of which had lifted and come away. He agreed to come and look at it the same day and give an estimate for repair. He arrived at the agreed time, advised it was only a small job and that he could return later that day to complete the repair. Fixes broken roof tiles
We had a few broken roof tiles replaced, our chimney repointed and the led replaced due to leaking over the winter. Duncan went out of his way to source the correct tiles and was here the next day to do the job. Couldn't fault any aspect of his work and would highly recommend him for any roofing job. We will definitely be using him again to replace our garage roof.
